I’ve been working on a book about personal energy management for a few years. I think I am now ready to release it.
Here is a crash course.

I’m talking about cleaning the human energy body, which is the Source of the physical body as well as the Emotions. This is a major element of the Science of Health, which I myself practice.

After my 3 month healing crisis in early 1995, I felt like working again so I took a 3 week trip to California doing seminars on the way, while there, and on the way back. It was a satisfying experience. I love teaching and sharing.

It was also an experience in emotional energy pollution. I collected enough death urge and other psychic dirt to put my body into chronic pain and tension and my mind into depression and suicidal feelings.

After you work out your own death urge, then you qualify to work it out for other people.

The following practices enabled me to clean myself;

1) I do my mantras everyday to keep me conscious and to renew my devotion to God. They keep me in love with God.

2) I sleep with the fire every night. Since I returned home, I have maintained a fire in my fireplace 24 hours every day. I do the fire ceremony by offering the first few spoonfuls of all my meals to the fire.

Yesterday was the first day without rain so I built a fire in my backyard. Something about the open flames on the ground breaks up bands of pain and tension that a contained fire doesn’t reach. There was a pocket of pain in my solar plexus that did not respond to my other practices and it is now moving and dissolving.

The Unconscious Death Urge and Rebirthing:
Information to assist people in unraveling this unconscious urge to sabotage themselves.

Unconscious Sabotage Patterns of Behavior and the Five Elements of Rebirthing:

1. Circular Breathing

The unconscious death urge (or unconscious sabotage urge) cannot exist simultaneously with circular breathing. It can and does exist  in all the pauses and within all forced exhales. Circular breathing is the experience of living in the fullest sense.  During this experience, which affects us physically, emotionally and mentally, our unconscious sabotage pattern of behavior are gently integrated into a sense of safety and physical well-being.

2. Complete Relaxation

The unconscious death urge exists in tension, whether this manifests as complete physical, emotional and mental tension or in particular areas of tension. At the point of complete relaxation, this unconscious sabotage pattern becomes conscious, or potentially integrative, or completely integrated.

3. Awareness in Detail

The unconscious death urge is operating to the degree to which one is unable to focus one’s conscious attention on any area of blocked energy in one’s body. It exists in pain of all kinds, distractions of all kinds whether they be internal or external. It exists in the avoidance of feelings or in the collapse into feelings. It exists in all suppressed energy within one’s refusal to be willing to integrate these suppressions. Awareness in detail is the path through the doorway once circular breathing, the key, has unlocked the door.

4. Integration into Ecstasy

Integration of the unconscious death urge occurs at  subtle levels when the first three elements of Rebirthing have been in operation.  Integration dissolves our unconscious sabotage patterns in a gentle and non-threatening way.

Note: It is important to remember here that the unconscious death urge is not something the we are trying to “get rid of” like a worn out pair of shoes. The unconscious death urge is ultimately our belief in Separation. Trying to “get rid of” it is creating more separation. Integration is the experience of being one with death, or more literally translated to our day to day living, being one with our unconscious urges to sabotage our success, health and happiness. As we accept these parts of us we become more integrated into the whole. This is an experience of ecstasy. The power of this experience diminishes the power of our unconscious urge to sabotage ourselves.

5. Do Whatever You Do Because Everything Works

If you succeed in sabotaging yourself before you completely integrate these unconscious patterns of behavior into the whole then this too works! Even if you die before you do it! You will have another opportunity to do whatever you do. Life and death is a Circle and you go around the circle as many times as You need to in order to learn the lesson. So keep doing whatever you are doing. Everything works even if it doesn’t look like it does!

Leonard was born and raised in Walton, NY, a small dairy farming town in Upstate Ne York in the Catskill Mountains.  He describes it as the perfect small American town, nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains with creeks and the Delaware River running through it.  He lived in the same house from birth until he left town for college.  Leonard never read a book until after he graduated from high school, and in college he flunked English composition.  Now he is often called “one of the geniuses of the 20th century”.

He became a born again Christian and majored in Bible and philosophy.  His book Physical Immortality for Christians is about the 5 immortals of the Bible.  It is a revolutionary classic.  Published in several languages, it has made Leonard an international authority on Biblical literature and religion.  It was first published in 1980.

During and after college, Leonard studied with Joel and Champion Teutsch.  With Joel’s help, he became spiritually enlightened.  Leonard attended Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA, and graduated from Los Angeles Pacific College.

After college, Leonard Orr struggled to find his place in life.  He worked successfully as a salesman, social worker, and other jobs, but eventually found fulfillment as a personal business consultant.  He developed a system that enabled him to double the income of self employed people.  His Money Seminar is on tape, has been published by over 5 of his students in successful books, and is presented in his books:  The Prosperity Consciousness Consultation, The Money Seminar, The Energy of Success, How to be a Successful Professional, and Government Without Taxes.  He has trained people to be successfully self-employed in sales, the arts, health professions, and many types of business.  He is a self-made millionaire.  Leonard says, “The prosperity of a nation is determined on the ratio of self-employed people, because the self-employed employ the rest.”

Also in the 60’s, which was a very creative period for Leonard, he wondered why American Government has ceased to be a paradise for democracy.  He figured out why and put the solution in his book called How to Make Democracy Work.  At this time he also figured out how to end our abusive tax system and began working on his book Government Without Taxes.  It is simple and brilliant!

During his internal search for himself, Leonard studied books about physical immortality and the immortal yogis.  In 1967, he unraveled his death urge.  His book on Healing the Death Urge wasn’t completed until 1995.  It is the only book of its kind in print.

As a  result of hundreds of spontaneous rebirthing experiences between 1962 and 1974, Leonard finally perfected a method of Rebirthing himself and others in 1974.  His discovery also called Conscious Breathing or Intuitive Energy Breathing is so effective that it has spontaneously, without major advertising, spread to over 10 million people around the world.  Rebirthing in the New Age published in 1977, is the Bible of Rebirthing.  Later, Leonard wrote a very practical book about breathing called Breath Awareness.  Rebirthing is the ability to breathe energy as well as air and also involves unraveling birth trauma, death urge and ultimately all human conditioning.  Leonard believes that it is possible to become a conscious expression of the Eternal Spirit and to really enjoy Life.

After spreading Rebirthing Breathwork around the world to a few thousand people by 1981, Leonard learned about the healing power of fire.  Fire saved him from the death urge of his students.  Fire is his book on the subject.  It describes how to use fire to heal the death urge and persistent negative emotions.  He says, “Fire is as important to human health as food, breathing, and bathing.”

In the 1960’s Leonard read about Immortal Yogis, but he wanted to actually meet one.

In 1977, Leonard took his first trek to India looking for an immortal human being.  He arbitrarily selected 300 as the minimum age standard to qualify for his research.  In 1977 he met Babaji in a 9058 year old body.  Babaji is called the Angel of the Lord in the Bible.  He met in physical bodies seven other immortal yogis some of whom have maintained a continuous local address on Earth for over 2000 years.  His books Physical Immortality (1980), The Common Sense of Physical Immortality (1988), Babaji, the Angel of the Lord (1992) and Bhartriji (1984), reflect these experiences.

To live over 300 years you have to heal not only the death urge, but the diseases of old age.  As a result of distilling the common denominators of the spiritual practices of the immortal yogis he studied, Leonard learned how to survive old age and has become a senility graduate himself.  he has discovered the joys of life beyond senility–after old age.  His book The Secrets of Youthing contains his rites of passage through this most dangerous period of human existence in which most people give up and die.

In his book Personal Energy Management, also written in this period, Leonard describes how living in divine energy makes one strong, but sensitive to emotional energy pollution.  He describes how to heal the death urge over and over and keep oneself spiritually clean through spiritual purification.

At this time in 1994, Leonard’s second child was born and he wrote a book about Rebirthing infants called The Healing Power of Birth and Rebirth.  The book includes his daughter’s ideal underwater birth and gives much insight into the birthing process.

Leonard’s book, About Your Femininity, reveals Leonard’s profound insight into human relationships.  All the women who have read it wonder how Leonard could know more about women than even women know about themselves.

Leonard’s greatest literary creations are his commentary on and translation of The Shiva Purana, which is the most ancient and greatest of Scriptures–the Word of God, and The Healing Manual, which is subtitled “the owner’s manual for owning and mastering our body and natural divinity”.

When Leonard started writing he didn’t see any sense in writing books about things that there is already a book about.  So he only writes about things that really enrich people’s life.  After several years of producing rich and practical and beautiful books, he noticed that people buy books that are familiar.  The books that sell on the best sellers list are books that say the same thing that most other books say.  Therefore, he noticed he had a problem.  How do you sell books about knowledge that nobody knows about?  You, reader, have the answer to this question!

An Abundance of Matter

Baby Immortals,

Does all this ado about outliving death make you feel…(yawn)…sleepy?

We understand.

The ego, a term we use synonymously with death urges and self-sabotage, has no interest in keeping you awake to process information that might unravel it’s tightly knit labors.

Why bring light to the shadows it spends all its time trying to protect you from?

The ego’s job is to ensure that you Survive, and for that we owe it a great deal of love, praise and gratitude.

But survival is a ceiling we must be willing to go past, look beyond and ask–

“What are we surviving FOR?”

Life is an exquisite project of remembering and acquiring more insight into the self and its world through observation.

Together we make more sense of the universe and the human experience.

We’ve learned that the Earth is round, that we revolve around the sun, and that we are subject to a force we’ve named gravity.

Likewise, it has been seeping into our collective awareness that the ceiling we call death is like a set of training wheels that, eventually, we have the option to remove.

This area of thought is The Last Tabu.

I’m not sure why people reacted so violently to the idea that the planet was not flat, but I do know that toying with the giant “Get Out of Jail Free” card of death in people’s imagination provokes a marvelous fireworks display.

The body is not the cage for the spirit that we have conditioned ourselves to believe.  It is a location, a center, that allows us to interface with all that the universe has to offer.

Everyone on the planet has gone through the strenuous task of condensing into the material realm, yet again.  Now that we’re here we can choose to use this lifetime to puuuuush our understanding deeper than we have previously, affording ourselves a glimpse of the miraculous potential our body temples have in store.

These are the first steps:

Reconciling yourself with the body…

Recognizing the unseen ways that the illusion of death cripples your ultimate potential…

Releasing your attachment to the idea of death like a baby relinquishing its pacifier, at last, when the moment is right.

Then the fun begins…

You take the first sweet breath of levity, sipping in the heady potential of your own divinity, the will and capacity to go on forever that is your inheritance, your legacy and your birthright.

And you get high.

And with each breath you get higher.

And this will go on and on and on into infinity.

Living forever is not the point.  It is the condition of a mind that knows it is immortal that interests us.

Imagine that you could resolve all your pains, forgive all your grievances, and manifest every last one of your desires and then some.

Then could you conceive of staying?

We go back into the womb over and over again each time the illusion of separation takes over.

The loving, benevolent divine mother takes us in, restores our innocence and says
“let’s do it again, baby”.

No rush, no points taken off, no questions asked–like one of those tremendous 100% guarantees.

What we’re aiming at now is spiritual maturity.

What does the divine mother reveal to us when we decide to master the living art of staying with the body we have?

This is a question that piques my soul’s curiosity, as it senses that in exchange for reserving the tremendous energetic and material resources expended in repeating the process of incarnation, it is granted an equal amount of energy to expand and illuminate in new ways.

Universal Credit, or better yet–Cosmic Gold…

All this and more is embedded in the crystalline waters of Immortality Consciousness.

This is the adventure which we invite you to begin.

Sense the divine mother and father surrounding you, supporting you, coaxing you into deeper waters of your own being.

Know that you can swim, you can float, you can breathe underwater.

Know that you are home.

Immortal Cashew

There is nothing to fear.  Not even death.  Turns out we have more options than we thought.

Over the pass few weeks, I have been looking gently into the unconscious death urge.

What is the unconscious death urge, why does it exist and what can I do about it?

If you are alive, then at some point in your life you have faced the unconscious death urge. We all must go through this healing.

The unconscious death urge can show up as a freak accident, a disease, or an emotional upset gone too far– to the point of hurting yourself.

It is responsible for self-sabotage and failure of business, marriages, or mental and physical health, and all kinds of human suffering and misery.
This invisible urge toward our own death is the source of depression, victim-consciousness, fear, hate and prejudice, violence, war, disease, hopelessness, helplessness, homicide as well as suicide.
The unconscious death urges basically comes from our first teachers– parents and community leaders.

We learn about death from  the environment we’re born into.

The well-intentioned people who raise us share with us a false belief that death is inevitable and a part of life. And most of us just accept this as the only possible explanation of how life works.

We live with our understanding of death by suppressing it.

The funny thing about living with death is that it’s not easy to ignore.   All the energy we expend in keeping death out of our awareness collects and explodes in the form of accidents, illness, negative relationships, pessimism, depression and countless other symptoms.  The ‘unconscious death urge’ is  powerful because most people are not aware that it exists.   Once you begin to become conscious of the ways that you have embodied death consciousness you will be better able to redirect this energy towards life rather than towards death.

We are not totally aware of the life urge of our death urges… we are in denial about the reality of death ( which isn’t the only reality available to us ) and so that belief continues to be more suppressed — thus developing an even stronger life urge of its own.

Take sudden death, for example.  What has really happened is that the person’s death urge has won out completely, with the obvious outcome of death.

It has been said – the only way to overcome death is to outlive it…

We outlive death by doing the purification practices that are easy and available to all.

Why do the Immortality Exercises?   Why feel relaxed, healthy, invigorated, happy, and peaceful?

How did these teachings get here?  Like Buddhism, Taoism, Painting, Sculpture, Martial Arts and Heirloom Crafts, the art and science of immortality is transmitted from one person to another, from teacher to student, from master to disciple.  The Immortality Exercises were shared with Western Culture primarily by a teacher named Babaji.

Previous to this encounter, the knowledge of human immortality was much, much more difficult to access.  It involved climbing mountains, usually the Himalayans, and hanging out in caves–IF you were allowed to stay.

The era of living without this knowledge is coming to an end.  The teachings are circulating far and wide, within reach of all those who call them forward.

This is just where we are in the cosmic cycle, and at a practical level this shows up as the intermingling of cultures and the accelerated exchange of information that has made it possible for us to learn the exercises and share them with you here.

Learning to do these exercises will give you a chance for a perpetual fresh start at the cellular level.  You learn how to stay in front of time and eliminate disease, degeneration and dying from your mindset.  You deserve to experience perfection and bliss IN YOUR BODY.  Why die?

Leaving a dead body behind on this earth means having to be reborn.  Most of us have done this many times now.  Being reborn is one way of purifying and renewing the vehicle of your divine spark.  But it is, in a sense, for amateurs.

Immortals are professionals. We have made the decision to raise the bar for the body we are in now, and to affirm this decision with actions that support the renewal of our psychic and physical organisms.  The practices essentially keep us alive and clear long enough to remember who we are.

We call it ‘a demonstrable concern for divinity’.

And it feels great.

All this to say, give yourself the chance to experience the universe as a safe, happy, pleasurable and comfortable place to be, starting here and now, in this body.  Then see what happens.

Is smoking making you Glorious?

I’ve had doctors tell me that the lungs are collapsed in the womb. Others have told me that the lungs are filled with amniotic fluid. It is possible that both theories are true.

Nature loves variety.

The security of the womb causes people to seek the physical sensations which the body felt while in the womb. Smokers who have examined the real nature of their addiction have shared with me that what they are really after is not oral satisfaction, but a certain feeling in the chest and lungs – having their lungs filled with something.

Cigarette smoke approaches it but it doesn’t deliver because it is not quite liquid like the amniotic fluid is. Perhaps the main reason people love physical death so much is because it is the only way to successfully and totally get back into the womb.

Smoking addiction puts people eventually back into the womb. What people really want is womb, not a cigarette.

Cigarette smoke is a partial unsatisfying substitute that is harmful – a bad choice. This is the most powerful realization to help people quit smoking, but it is not enough to break the habit.

The mind and body must be retrained. This is called discipline. It starts with a choice. The choice to quit smoking begins with quitting one day per week.

Mastering only one day per week retrains the mind. The body follows. The rest is easy. Two days per week. Then three days a week, etc. People who try this idea usually find that when they quit one day per week, they automatically smoke less on the other days, without effort.

Eventually, the nasty habit of smoking just falls away. When you are smoking only one day per week, you will notice personally what the habit is doing to your physical body and your Energy Body. You can feel it.

Only a very ignorant person would continue this kind of violence to himself or herself. Therefore it is necessary to heal the death urge as well as the birth trauma. Warm water Rebirthing is very helpful.  Happy Breathing!

Immortal Spiritual Tree

I love this tree. It is a persimmons tree located at the Los Angeles Zen Center.

The fruit from this tree fed me for several days while I was in Los Angeles.
I want to acknowledge this tree for being in my life.

Every year this tree provides an abundance of fruits for us to consume.

This photo is the tree releasing its excess, so that it can prepare for another growth spurt.

If you were a tree how would your life be? Are you growing and shedding and growing again?

If we were all trees we would do this naturally. As human we must work at releasing what is not serving us.
